Building-biology engineering office for natural materials
Simple. Smart. Building.
We build your home from natural materials – hempcrete, clay and lime in timber-frame construction. A healthy indoor climate, regional raw materials, crafted by hand.
Three materials, one system
In timber-frame construction a few timbers carry the structure. We fill the bays with mixes of hemp, lime and clay – tuned as needed for insulation, thermal storage, acoustic, fire and moisture protection.
Hempcrete
A pourable mix of hemp shiv and lime – insulating, vapour-permeable and moisture-regulating.

Clay
The world's oldest building material – for plasters, rammed-earth floors and a healthy indoor climate.

Lime
A mineral plaster with naturally high alkalinity – robust, breathable and mould-resistant.

Technical pros and cons are one thing. What matters to us is the other: how a room feels. Touch, temperature, colour and smell – natural materials speak to all the human senses.
We work with regional resources and develop our own mixes for hempcrete, clay and lime plasters and floors – complemented by straw and wood chips.
